"Mark is a User Interface Architect for the Second Foundation project, leading the design of the Second Foundation's Psychosocial Architecture and User Interface. Before joining the Advanced Technology Group, Mark spent three years leading the design of Microsoft's next generation Windows User Interface, providing the fundamental conceptual, user, and interaction models for Cairo and Chicago (Windows 95). Prior to that, he produced Bill Gates' ground-breaking demo of Microsoft's Information at Your Fingertips. Mark is a graduate of Brown University, from which he holds a degree in psychology. He has designed award-winning educational software; received Film Production Certification from New York University; and provided clinical supervision of borderline schizophrenics residing in a therapeutic community in Connecticut. His favorite word is inchoate."
